As part of our commitment to innovation and accessibility in mental health treatment, we are excited to share a unique opportunity at Koru Wellness – Group Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT). This treatment model not only makes pioneering mental health care more affordable but also enriches the healing process through the power of community.
What Group Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Looks Like: At Koru Wellness, we embrace a cohort model where the same participants journey together from start to finish. Each series includes both ketamine and non-ketamine sessions, fostering a supportive environment where insights and transformations are integrated with the help of our dedicated therapists and the collective wisdom of the group.
Assessment and Preparation: Every journey begins with a thorough assessment to ensure your safety and suitability for ketamine therapy. Following medical clearance, you'll participate in a preparation sessions that establish a safe and supportive group atmosphere, essential for effective healing. These sessions occur at our brand new Lehi office, accommodating both in-person and virtual attendance to meet your needs.
During Your Session: Throughout the cohort you will participate in four guided ketamine sessions as a group. The ketamine sessions are thoughtfully structured to maximize comfort and therapeutic impact. Each session starts with a personal check-in with our medical provider, followed by a group setting of intentions. You'll then settle into a personalized setting equipped with mood pods, weighted blankets, and eye shades, accompanied by specially curated music to guide your experience. Post-dosing, there's a reflective period for journaling and optional sharing within the group, deepening the communal healing experience.
The Benefits of Group Settings: Group therapy significantly reduces costs, making this transformative treatment more accessible. Beyond financial benefits, sharing the therapeutic journey fosters deeper emotional and psychological healing, echoing the communal nature of traditional psychedelic practices. Our groups are intentionally small, maintaining an intimate setting that ensures personal attention and safety.
Join Us: This is more than therapy; it's a shared journey of discovery and healing. If you're seeking a new approach after finding limited relief in traditional therapies, group ketamine therapy might be your next step towards wellness. Please reach out to us to learn more about enrolling in our upcoming sessions.
We are here to answer any questions you might have about this innovative treatment option and look forward to welcoming you into our healing community.
